These days most main entrance door entry “systems” into business premises comprise of nothing more than a welcome mat inside the door and as reception areas are no longer “manned” by a receptionist, indeed you are far more likely to be confronted with a phone and a sign which says dial “0” to speak to someone! The flaw with that “system” of course is they are already in your building! Controlling door access is the solution to stopping people just walking into your building when they want to! How many times have you seen unwanted “visitors” around your site? Of course in the real world it does not always happen like that but I believe it is still worth making the point especially in the current economic climate that the security of their premises is extremely important to the ongoing health & welfare of their business. Door entry and the door access you use can be the first step in helping your business to fight crime.
